About this Event
After the success of last years speed dating/friending event, and with the month of grá yet again upon us, Croí na Gaeilge are bringing you their SECOND speed dating event as Gaeilge for Lá Vailintín. Whether you're interested in love or the language, friendship or more, this night is about meeting people and learning Gaeilge.
Emphasis is on the event being more of a speed "friending" vibe, it's not just about the romance. But you never know who you'll meet ;) We can confirm last year's event resulted in many more dates both romantically AND platonically outside of Jamboree.
There will be some simple phrases at each table to help break the ice – whether it’s a Dia duit or something more ...
What to expect:
- Speed-dating setup, sitting at chairs with timed rounds
- Easy Gaeilge phrases to get the convos flowing
- An inclusive and open space for everyone – all genders, sexualities, backgrounds and all levels of Irish are welcome
Come solo or bring a cúpla cairde – all are welcome.
