August Bøegh Quintet is a modern jazz quintet playing the music of upcoming bass player August Bøegh. The music is inspired by names such as Immanuel Wilkins and Aaron Parks and will be recorded on Augusts debutrecord as a bandleader in may. Guesting this evening are some of the finest young musicians in Scandinavia. Lea Foxman will be singing and has written texts for the songs. On piano is the great Rasmus Sørensen. The upcoming alto saxophonist Emil Boesen will be joining aswell as Theis Coermann on drums. Expect an evening with both beautiful passages and time for hard grooving music.
