Join TJ, a lifelong rules lawyer and 3.5 fiend, and the famous loremaster of Balrogath for this dungeon crawl at AärdCON 2026.
"We'll be playing D&D 3.5E with a focus of this dungeoncrawl to be exploration and survival. You find yourself with no food and little in the way of tools, you'll have to scrounge, hunt, and scavenger in your surroundings. While 3.5 can be a little rules heavy or "crunchy," for some, I truly enjoy working with those rules to help players accomplish goals and achieve great feats! Shall ye enter?
Though you and your company fought bravely, the hobgoblin's numbers were too great, and yours too few. You were incapacitated, waking only when forced to march. Disarmed and distressed, you waited for your opportunity to escape, knowing the wilds would not be kind to one without weapons, armour, or spell components, with a battalion of goblinkin at their tail.
This is your opportunity. The hobgoblins have brought you to "The Pit." Hurling you into a muddy hole, sliding some 50ft down and little chance of climbing back up, you find yourself in an unnatural cave system. With no way out but through, and unsure why you've been freed into the caves you only have two things on your mind; find a way out, and survive long enough to use it."
All games at AärdCON 2026 are strictly for ages 14+ and are not catered to young adventurers. For child inclusive gaming, please see our family table. All games are held downstairs (or by small elevator) in the Valhalla Room.
This ticket is your entrance fee to AärdCON, there is no additional fee to play in one of our games. We only ask that you pay in advance to have a seat at the gaming table so the game runners know how many players will be attending. Show this ticket at the front desk to access the convention.
