Hello everyone!Please join us at our next Azerbaijani dance workshops on Saturday, 30th of May at 3:00 pm! Please don’t come late!! We will have more time to dance.
We will have an evening of Azerbaijani and Caucasus region dances (Yalli, Lezginka, etc.)! For those who do not know, Yalli is a group dance where participants hold hands and dance in a circle/line. We provide instructions! Don’t worry about making mistakes as they are a necessary part of learning, so feel free to join.
We specially invite our dance students to come and practice their moves!
NOTES:
– Cover charge of $10 cash at the door.
– We foster a kind and supportive environment.
– No previous dance experience necessary!
– Wear comfortable clothes – you will sweat!
– Some people dance barefoot or with socks. Comfy shoes with a suede shoes are great too.
