This course is intended for adults wanting to gain confidence in the use of axes, knives and saws in the wilderness.About this Event
We will be based in a beautiful beech wood with the campfire lit and the kettle ready. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be on hand. Please bring your own lunch; you are welcome to use the fire to cook.
The course will cover:
- Correct and safe use of axes, knives andd saws
- Selection of woods for different purposes
- Sharp tools law
- Making useful items to use around camp and to extend the purpose of your metal tools.
