Meet your host
Hi, I'm Gee — a dedicated somatic coach, certified yoga teacher, movement practitioner and founder of The Somatic Hub. My mission is to guide individuals in living authentically and forging deeper connections with the rhythm and wisdom of their bodies, and with others and the natural world around them. I have over 12 years of experience in the curation of inclusive, accessible and aspirational community spaces and social initiatives across arts and culture, local Government and the third sector.
My journey in holistic wellness began with my Yoga teacher training through the Kashish Yoga School (based in Goa, India). I now specialise in Pranayama (breathwork), Vinyasa, and Yin Yoga. More recently, I was awarded a full scholarship to undergo Somatic Coaching certification with the Somatic School in London. I incorporate numerous techniques into my work, including somatic tracking, Organic Intelligence and embodied play. My research and work has been featured in Galdem, Consented, The Rhythmic Body, BBC Asian Network and Mind. In my free time, I love wild swimming, drinking tea and deep conversations with friends.
THE VENUE
This bright, airy and spacious studio in Clapham is the perfect setting for our half-day event. Fully equipped with yoga mats, blankets, bolsters and cushions, there is nothing you need to bring with you. The studio is fully heated (so don't worry about the possibility of cold) and the on-site kitchen means you will have access to tea and water throughout the event too! I care about offering personalised and meaningful experiences, so note that the spaces will be capped to offer an intimate and nourishing environment.
