About this Event
Titan Level 1 works through everything you need to know to build a showfile from scratch using Titan-based consoles. From patching fixtures through to recording playbacks, palettes, creating effects and cue lists. These skills will help you become a more confident programmer when creating shows for live events, theatre and more.
Prerequisites
A working knowledge of DMX, colour mixing and moving lights is REQUIRED before attending this course. If you are new to lighting, or aren’t familiar with console programming, you are REQUIRED to complete our BEFORE attending Level 1.
Course attendees who do not fulfil this requirement may fall behind in the class; our trainers have limited time to cover all topics, so please be prepared.
Please read the following key information:
- The training room will be open from 8:45am, with the training session kicking off from 9:00am. We normally finish between 4:00pm & 4:30pm.
- The sessions are structured to run with a maximum of two trainees sharing each console.
- Snacks, tea, and coffee will be available throughout the day. If you have strict dietry requirements or allergies, you're welcome to bring lunch with you. We may have limited options available on the day.
- You're more than welcome to bring your own console to the training. Please note that we are running V18 of the titan software.
Titan Certification
Titan Certification is only available to trainees who complete BOTH Level 1 & Level 2 courses in-person.
Student Ticket Pricing
All students are eligible for student pricing. Please email us directly to request a student discount, and bring your student ID card with you on the training day.
After Training - Editor AvoKey
After training, it is strongly recommended to practice what you’ve learned either on an Avolites console or on a computer that has access to Titan Go.
Please note that if you're wanting to run Titan on your computer, you will need to purchase an 'Editor AvoKey', which grants you a license to the software. By attending Avolites training, you're eligible for a 50% discount on purchasing an AvoKey, which you can either purchase as an add-on when booking your tickets, or by contacting your trainer after the event.
For more information about the Editor AvoKey, please view our website page here, or speak with your trainer on the day.
Refunds & Cancellations
- Bookings are non-refundable within 48 hours of the training date.
- If you need to cancel, please contact us directly at [email protected].
Note: If we need to cancel the training, we will provide at least 4 days’ notice (unless in the event of an emergency). You will be given the option to cancel or reschedule your booking. LSC will reimburse tickets that cannot be rescheduled.
