
YIN YOGA is a relaxing and gentle form of yoga where passive stretches are held for 3-4 minutes at a time to access the deeper layers of our connective tissue and support joint health. It also encourages presence and awareness.
This season the element we'll be working with in our yoga practice is Earth (connected to Autumn in traditional Chinese medicine) and the organs we'll be gently supporting through the poses will be the lungs & large intestine and also the nose and skin.
YOGA NIDRA is both a state and a practice and is sometimes referred to as conscious sleep. It is a form of guided meditation which can help create space in the body & mind as well as acting as a reset for the systems of the body. As you relax into the meditation you can feel almost floaty sometimes likened to being between awake and sleeping or dreaming.
HEALTHY TEA & CAKE - we'll finish with something seasonal delicious and nourishing.
