About this Event
This is a free public event, but we need your support to help make it possible!
Autistic Pride Day is an annual celebration started by and for Autistic people, to celebrate pride in being Autistic. This year’s theme, Strength in Community, highlights the importance of spaces where Autistic people can connect, build community, and support one another.
What to Expect: We’ll gather for an afternoon of live music, speeches, activities, freebies, and a picnic in the park. You’ll have the chance to connect with other Autistic and disability-led organizations, who will be sharing resources with the community.
Food: Light snacks and water will be provided. If you’d like a full meal, you can visit DIG across the street and bring it back to enjoy picnic-style with the group! 30% of purchases will be donated back to AANYC during our event at this location. Use code DIGFUNDRAISER if ordering online, or show the fundraiser flyer at checkout: DIG Fundraiser.
Accessibility: This is a fully accessible event, open to the public and all ages. For a full walkthrough of this event and accessibility information, view our Accessibility Guide (Coming Soon)
