Authors Social
Fortress Arts Academy invites the community to an afternoon of storytelling, dialogue, and literary celebration. This event will feature 12 dynamic authors who will present their published works, engage in meaningful discussion, and connect directly with readers through book signings and personal conversations.
Our mission is to uplift diverse voices, promote literacy, and create a welcoming space for creative exchange in Southwest and West Philadelphia.
Author Participation
We are inviting 12 authors to join this curated event. Each author will receive a dedicated table to display and sell books and a 10-minute spotlight to present their work and share insights. You will also recieve inclusion in all promotional materials and social media campaigns. There will be networking opportunities with readers, educators, and fellow creatives.
Participation Fee: $50 per author
(This fee supports venue costs, promotional outreach, and event staffing.)
Program Highlights will include author presentations and Q&A sessions. There will be book signings, meet-and-greet opportunities , light refreshments, music, youth-led media coverage, and interviews.
