One of the founding members of the Austin music scene as it exists today, Greezy Wheels, will be celebrating the release of their final new music album on the equally legendary Austin label, Armadillo Records. The record, called 'We Come We Go,' will be issued only on vinyl and online, and will bring the Greezy Wheels full circle to the halcyon days of their beginnings as the "house band" of the Armadillo World Headquarters. The label itself, recently rebirthed, was founded in 1969 in the bowels of the infamous venue, and in a true sense, Greezy Wheels becomes the first band to actually "go home with the Armadillo." Future releases from the label include an amazing live Waylon Jennings album and dozens of classic live recordings from the stage of the Armadillo.To celebrate, the band will play old favorites and new, with the current lineup that features members of New Bohemians, The Seven Walkers, The Carolyn Wonderland Band, the Patrice Pike band and the Chris Duarte Group. All have been with Greezy Wheels for at least ten years.
Opening the show will be up and coming women's empowerment trio, Miracle Cure, who will be celebrating the release of their own album. Both records will be available for purchase at the club.
