ABOUT THE SHOW
Based on a true story, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas is a bold, hilarious, and surprisingly heartfelt musical blending country, gospel, and Broadway styles. Many audiences recognize the story from the hit 1982 film adaptation starring Dolly Parton, Burt Reynolds, and Dom DeLuise. Set in a small Texas town, the show centers on the legendary Chicken Ranch and the clash between tradition, politics, morality, and community. With big ensemble numbers, sharp satire, and unexpected warmth, this musical is both outrageous and deeply human.
