The Breakthrough Theatre Company will hold auditions for the sequel to our big season 16 hit, "Hee Haw", on the following dates and times:Saturday, May 2, 10 a.m.-12 pm.
Sunday, May 3, 6 p.m.-8 p.m.
*no appointments, just show up between the hours listed
"Hee Haw 2: Still Pickin' and a Grinnin'" is a variety show saluting the classic television show "Hee Haw", which ran from 1969-1993. The show contains country music, hymns, and corny jokes and sketches.
To audition, prepare and sing 16-32 bars of any country song, preferably a song from 1969-1993. Please bring your song on your phone or we can pull up a YouTube video on the theater computer. If you have never performed in a Breakthough production, please include a recent headshot or face picture. Resumes are appreciated, but not mandatory.
All roles are unpaid, but we collect tips at each peformance that are split up amongst the cast members at the end of the run.
Performance Dates and Times:
June 5-22, 2026
Fridays, Saturdays, and Mondays at 8 p.m., and Sundays at 3 p.m.
*There is no performance on Father's Day (June 21).
Rehearsals:
7-9 p.m.
May 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21, 26, 27
Tech Week (7 p.m.-???)
