Pianist-composer Nataniel Edelman, in town from Buenos Aires via the Swiss Alps, and long-time collaborator sometimes local saxophonist Michaël Attias, reconvene their Berlin Quartet with the fabulous Phil Donkin on the bass and debonair drummer extraordinaire Devin Gray, for a program of infectious, moody, joyful songs and dances through the labyrinth.

The singer Sophie Link views her voice not only as a melodic instrument, but continually explores its expressive potential at the intersection of improvisation, composition, and the spoken word.
The Tee.Trio is the working band of saxophonist Peter Ehwald. Born in Berlin, he has long been part of the local jazz scene and yet his work with musicians such as Tom Rainey, Robert Lanfermann and Laura Robles radiates beyond the borders of the City. The twins Andreas and Matthias Pichler play bass and drums with him. Matthias is highly virtuosic on bass and Andreas is theatrical and performative on drums.
For the three of them, the combination of jazz and modernity is part of his everyday music-making. Following their regular engagement at Berlin's Tee.Salon:iki, their release “Live in Berlin” will appear in the spring – a concert recording from the B-Flat jazz club. The Tee.Trio's concerts develop an improvisational pull in which anything is possible thanks to their irrepressible joy of playing—jazz tradition, heartbreaking ballads, folklore from Tyrol, and a sky-high search for freedom.
