About this Event
Join ATID on Sunday, March 16th at 9:15 AM for a 5 mile (round-trip)
hike with 900 feet elevation gain in Griffith Park! The hike features
views that span the city and is expected to take about three hours.
Bring: At least two liters of water, good hiking shoes, long pants, sun
protection (sunscreen, hat), layered clothing, a snack, and of course a
big smile on your face!
Transportation/Parking: Use Vermont Canyon Rd & Vista Del Valle Dr, Los
Angeles, CA 90027 for GPS purposes. Free parking is available both near
this address and slightly to the north in the area near the Greek
Theater. You can also take busses 180 or 217 to Los Feliz / Vermont and
walk 20 minutes north along Vermont to our meeting point.
Meeting Point: Meet by the two picnic tables at the corner of Vista Del
Valle Dr & Vermont Canyon Rd. The two tables are on the west side of
Vermont Canyon Rd and the opposite side of Vista Del Valle Dr from a set
of restrooms. If you are running more than 10-15 minutes late and we
have already started, we will be taking the Riverside Trail to the
Hogback Trail.
Dogs: Dogs are welcome if accompanied by their human. According to
Griffith Park rules, Dogs must be on leash at all times.
