Astronomy Down the Pub - supper and then a talk by Fred Vanner

The talk is entitled 'Phoebe and Lisa: Measuring an eclipsing binary star' and given by WMA member Fred Vanner. Fred will share the fascinating results from his recent Open University research project.
This is our traditional April visit to the Old Down Inn, to eat and chat, to enjoy a talk, and if the weather permits to observe afterwards from the pub garden.
Timings are 18:00 for a 18:30 supper in the Function Room. The talk can be atteneded without joining in the meal, just come along in time for 19:30.
Visitors are very welcome.
