The Assheton Bowmen Annual Novice Shoot 2024

A relaxed and friendly shoot designed to give novices and archery newcomers a taste of the archery tournament experience with as little pressure as possible.
This year our shoot will consist of the ALL NEW world archery apporved WA900 round.
An exciting opportunity to shoot a round more substantial than a WA720 but not as tiring as a WA1440.
THINGS TO NOTE!
Archers may arrive at the venue from 8am.
Assembly will be at 09:15am and sighters will begin at 09:30am.
Breakfast muffins will be available on the day before assembly as well as coffee, tea, cakes and light refreshments throughout the day (cash only). The same will be available at lunchtime.
No camping is permitted at the site.
Disabled archers are asked to indicate their requirements on the entry form or contact the tournament organiser please specify if you will be using a chair on the shooting line.
Raffle will be held at the end of the shoot before awards ceremony.
To comply with the GNAS Protection of Children and vulnerable adults policy those who wish to take photographs at this event are to register with the tournament organiser on the day. Whilst every reasonable effort will be made to prevent unauthorised photography, filming etc. taking place, the tournament organiser cannot be held responsible for any breach of this policy.
The tournament is open to all archers, including juniors (u18), although only archers that have been members of Archery GB for 2 years or less will be eligible for awards.
Assheton Bowmen will not be responsible for any damage or loss of equipment during the tournament.
Neither Assheton Bowmen nor the Tournament Organiser is able to accept responsibility for the care of children. All junior competitors must be accompanied by a responsible adult for the duration of the tournament.
Competitors must be members of Archery GB, and proof of membership will be required at registration.
No alcohol is allowed on the field or at the venue.
Assheton Bowmen will not be responsible for damage to equipment. Personal belongings, vehicles and equipment are brought to the event at visitors own risk.
GNAS dress regulations apply.
When you enter competitions the following information may be collected and shared with tournament organisers, scoring systems and other competitors for example targetlists and results may be published: First Name, Surname, Gender, Bow style, Date of Birth / Age category, Email, Address, Phone number, Club (and ID), County (and ID), Region (and ID), Round (unless defined by age), Disabled (Y/N), Disability info.
