About this Event
Please note, this workshop is open to colleagues in healthcare, social care and the police across Devon only.
It is increasingly challenging to set boundaries at work – especially when we’re working from home and technology seeming to creep into all areas of our lives. However, having clear, communicable boundaries is essential for our own and others wellbeing.
Often a barrier to setting and upholding our boundaries can be our own self-confidence. Despite this being normal and natural, it doesn’t help us in the long-term.
Led by Anna Croucher, Senior Colleague Wellbeing Practitioner, this experiential workshop will explore what we mean by boundaries, why they are important and how to set them assertively. We will learn to say ‘no’ from a place of self-kindness and compassion.
The workshop will draw on different modalities including Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Training and Compassion-focused Therapy, ensuring you have a variety of evidenced-based tools to use after.
There will be a maximum of 25 spaces available to ensure there is time to connect with each other. The sessions will take place on MS Teams and you will need a pen and paper and somewhere you can talk without disturbances.
