Come Join us at Hazlehead Pets Corner Education Room for Sensory Messy Play using a variety of wet and dry materials
The Messy play session will last 1 hour and then families are welcome to visit the animals at pets corner for as long as they wish.
Sensory play allows children to explore and understand the world around them through their natural senses. These experiences support brain development by encouraging neural connections and contribute to growth across all areas of learning.
As children interact with different textures and materials, their sense of touch develops, forming a foundation for important skills like recognising objects by touch and building both fine and gross motor abilities.
Sensory activities can also be calming and therapeutic, helping young children work through emotions, anxieties, and frustrations. They provide an outlet for releasing energy while building confidence and new skills.
