This LivingWORKS ASIST workshop will help give you the confidence to:
- Recognize the signs that someone may be thinking of suicide
- Reach out to someone with thoughts of suicide and talk openly
- Create a keep-safe-for-now plan and connect them with further help and support
- Understand how personal and community attitudes about suicide affect someone’s openness to seek help and your ability to provide it
- Support purposeful living and self-care
This free workshop is available for any community member ages 16+ who want to feel equipped to help keep people safer from suicide. This can include parents, educators, healthcare professionals, church and community groups, and more. No previous training or experience is required.
This workshop is free of charge. Lunch will be provided. Seating is limited.
