Applications are now open for the Asia-Pacific Commercial Mediation Competition, held online from 28-30 August 2026.
Applications for UNSW teams are open from Monday 4 May 2026 to 11:59pm Tuesday 19 May 2026.
‼️IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE COMPETITION:
The APCMC offers a challenging and inspiring opportunity that is open to all Law, Business and Social Science students.
Through this Asia-Pacific competition, the Australian Dispute Centre and ICC seek to empower tomorrow’s business leaders and legal minds, equipping them with skills to better meet the dispute resolution needs of international commerce, in an expanding and increasingly complex marketplace.
💡The key aims of the APCMC include:
Creating a unique opportunity for students to showcase their negotiation skills in a commercial mediation environment.
Developing skills in collaborative commercial problem solving, analytical judgment and persuasion.
Connecting aspiring students to strong professional networks.
The APCMC attracts student teams from leading Universities across Australia, Asia, the South Pacific, India, the Americas, and Africa.

All undergraduate and postgraduate UNSW students are eligible to compete - however, those who have participated in ICC Paris/APCMC previously are ineligible to apply.
Competitors will be required to attend weekly training throughout Term 2 2026.
No mediation background is essential, but experience or a background in negotiations is highly recommended.
