About this Event
Ascolta is an eight part choral ensemble based in Dublin. We’re a group of singers who share a passion for music and love singing together. Most of us are not professional musicians, we just sing together for the joy of it!
“Ascolta” means “listen” in Italian and we chose it because, as a self-conducted group, we need to actively listen to each other to create a unified sound for the audience to enjoy.
This May, we are making our debut performance in Belfast, presenting a mixed programme of classical, popular and traditional songs. As we sing in different languages and styles, let us transport you to different times and places. We look forward to sharing some of our favourite music with you!
