LECTURE SUMMARY
Join a dynamic, moderated panel discussion featuring experienced NYC professionals with backgrounds in geotechnical engineering, law, and development for an engaging evening on geotechnical risks and the impacts of construction on adjacent properties. The discussion will examine how subsurface conditions, urban design, building code requirements and construction-related risks are identified and managed in NYC, with an emphasis on safety, responsible development, and mitigation strategies. Drawing on real-world experience and lessons learned, the panel will highlight the value of interdisciplinary collaboration for successful urban projects – for the benefit of both clients and neighbors.
