About this Event
Arty Bods with Lauren Saunders is back! We are inviting children aged between 5-11 to join us and explore the magic of the ocean using paper in fun and creative ways. Inspired by seaweed, sea creatures, and underwater habitats, we’ll draw, fold, cut, print and build artworks that bring the 'deep unknown' to life. Each session encourages imagination, play, and curiosity about nature and materials.
About Lauren Saunders:
Lauren Saunders is a professional visual artist based in Hull, UK, working at the intersection of people, activism, and the more-than-human world. Her practice explores social and environmental issues through hopeful storytelling, interspecies artmaking and collaborative projects that foster ecoliteracy, climate action, and a sense of radical kinship with the natural world. Using regenerative materials and processes, she typically works across experimental drawing, temporary sculpture, print, ceremony, participatory projects, and land-based installation across her diverse interdisciplinary research-practice.
