Keeping up the momentum following our sell out January and February shows we've got another CC first time headliner, the legendary Karen Bayley. A usual we will have an array of great supporting acts (see below, this month it's real and Dough Punks are back again for their regular slice of the action, serving up tasty pizzas from 6:30pm before the show starts at 8pm.

Karen Bayley is a midlands based act hailing from Birmingham. Karen has been on the circuit for over two decades. She made a name for herself early on in her career reaching the semi-final of the prestigious BBC New Comedy Awards and was later crowned the winner of the 2001 Komedia New Act prize, Karen followed up by becoming the first ever female winner of the prestigious Comedy Store King Gong award as well as reaching the finals of both the BBC New Comedy Awards Showcase and Babycham Funny Women.
Delightfully saucy, her friendly and confident stage presence, combined with a killer wit, an infectious giggle and some devastating one-liners make her a comedic force to be reckoned with a warm and welcoming with a delightfully saucy and spiky edge, her bold, no nonsense attitude strikes a perfect pitch with men and women alike.
A highly in demand act on the circuit Karen can be regularly seen at clubs such as The Comedy Store, Komedia, Bearcat, Mandfords & Just The Tonic to name a few. Karen has also performed all across the globe including Dubai, Belgium, Norway as well as on Virgin Cruise Ships.
Karen has done tour support for Joe Lycett & Jason Manford, had her own radio show on BRMB Radio and has performed at every type of gig imaginable.

Plus three support acts, including the outstanding Adam Hughes opening the show, with support from Francine Carlyle and Richard Stott. As usual, all held together (sort of) by your regular hosts award winning compere Fresh Prince Of Hull Fair Jed Salisbury and some guy called Rich Austin.
Doors open 6:30pm for the pizzas, show starts at 8pm (or whenever we can be arsed). Tickets £15 in advance or on the door (where available) or £12 for CCC members or with NUS / NHS card).

We've sold out (or very nearly) the last few months so please make sure you're booking/reserving in advance. If you're coming in groups of four or more it's helpful if you can book together or let us know your total group size so that we can allocate seating.
Cottingham Comedy Club, winner of Yorkshire's Best Independent Comedy Club 2023 and 2024 and the village’s only comedy venue, provides an unique comedy experience in many ways. This intimate club gets you up close and personal with the acts, many of whom are breaking through into TV, or are established acts from the UK and international comedy circuit. The Back Room is a welcoming venue and we have a dedicated room for the comedy, with regular breaks between the acts for you to lubricate your throats with laughter juice. With four acts and a compere it’s great value for money at less than £2.50 per comedian. We think it’s the most fun you can have with friends on a midweek night out.
