We’re excited to invite you to Artists Engage: Season Of Bloom at BCA HQ (2700 East Tremont Avenue, Bronx, NY, 10461) on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Our Artists Engage series is designed to create opportunities for Bronx artists across disciplines to network, unwind, and share ideas in a warm and welcoming space.
Throughout the year so far, we have provided artists with a wide range of opportunities and resources to support their growth and creative development. As we enter the spring season, we invite artists to intentionally cultivate those resources—nurturing their skills, refining their vision, and investing in their practice.
Season of Bloom is a time to focus, deepen, and flourish—transforming preparation into progress and potential into full expression.
Enjoy sounds by DJ Disco Curandera, wine, light refreshments, great company, and a creative activation led by artist Taiitan. Everything Has A Home, a hands-on workshop, invites participants to select a found object from a shared collection prepared by the artist and transform it using markers, paint, and other simple materials. Centered on experimentation and personal expression, this activation encourages creative exploration without a fixed outcome—each participant leaves with a uniquely altered object of their own making.
A Community Resource Table will be available for sharing materials with fellow artists. Bring zines, one-pagers, resource flyers, collaboration proposals, and business cards to exchange and showcase your work.
Join us as we come together to reflect, reconnect, and recharge for the year ahead, building deeper bonds through community.
