Artist Talk with Peter Aidu

Aidu will discuss how he reimagines music, from playing two pianos at once to transforming museum objects, city sounds, and historic instruments into new creative experiences in a moderated session.
Peter Aidu is a musician, curator, composer and a one of Russia’s most distinctive pianists and sound artists. Trained at the Moscow Conservatory and Hannover’s Hochschule für Musik, he is a prizewinner of major competitions in Cincinnati and Rome, a former Moscow Philharmonic soloist, and the force behind the revival of the legendary conductorless orchestra Persimfans. A Golden Mask and Kuryokhin Prize laureate, he is known for pioneering phonorealism, merging music, sound design, and sonic sculpture.
Dom Art Projects is a private art institution and contemporary art space in Dubai .
