Join artist Bobbi Baugh for an engaging talk on her creative process and expressive art quilt practice.Through textile collage, Bobbi Baugh explores dreams, memories, and storytelling, combining hand printmaking, direct painting, original photographic transfers, collage construction, and machine stitching into richly layered art quilts. For Baugh, this mixed-media approach becomes a powerful language for uncovering stories through texture, color, and imagery.
Baugh has developed a visual vocabulary that serves as an entry point into narratives of home, personal journey, and memory. Viewers will encounter recurring motifs including windows, child-like houses, unexpected natural elements such as trees and water woven into domestic spaces, and the repeated figure of a young girl. Through these evocative works, Baugh invites audiences to step into the quilts and the dreams and memories they hold.
