About the Artist
Kathy Schwarz is a Lethbridge-based glass artisan with a deep appreciation for the textures, colours, and endless possibilities of glass. Despite its fragility, glass embodies both beauty and strength - a balance Kathy captures beautifully through her work.
Her practice spans stained glass, fused glass, etched glass, mosaics, and lampworked pieces, with a special fascination for the chemistry behind the art form. This passion shines through in every creation, from intricate designs to playful pieces
