Artful Buzz:
Interior Design Gallery Hop in Greenwich Village Sarah Raymond
APRIL 8 @11am-1pm
Cost: $100pp
There are so many creative industries in NYC: the fine art world, advertising and design field, fashion, publishing....and interior design! Artful Buzz is proud to present a new in-person tour of the interior design scene on Tenth Street in Greenwich Village. This district is known for its classic interior design and antiques. Our guide is Sarah Raymond, a longtime Artful Buzz member who is excited to share her expertise and connections in the interior design world with us!
About Sarah Raymond, Our Guest Guide - Sarah Raymond, Founder of Studio 808 Interiors, was born and educated in France. She came to NYC in 1987 and worked under design apprenticeships at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), followed by jobs at Tom Lee Limited, a small high-end hospitality firm, and Beyer Blinder Belle, a large architectural firm. She later moved on to work at Brennan Beer Gorman Monk, where she worked on the renovation team at Caesar’s in Atlantic City. By 2008, Sarah created her own firm, Studio 808 Interiors. Over the years, Sarah perfected her design style as contemporary and modern with a splash of color. Her ability to understand her clientele's lifestyle and individual taste and infuse it into beautifully curated spaces makes her a sought-after professional designer. She brings energy into a room though her color palette and choices of materials, while always maintaining a flawless sense of comfort. See below for more examples of her work.
