Join us for an immersive, hands-on adult art workshop inspired by the quiet elegance and timeless simplicity of Japanese Ukiyo-e art. This session invites you to explore winter landscapes through a minimalist lens—focusing on balance, negative space, gentle movement, and poetic atmosphere.
What You’ll Learn & Create
- An introduction to Ukiyo-e landscape traditions and their influence on modern minimalist art
- How Japanese artists use simplicity, line, and negative space to convey mood and season
- Techniques for creating winter landscapes with limited colour palettes and refined compositions
- Step-by-step guidance with space for personal interpretation and experimentation
- A finished minimalist winter artwork to take home
No prior painting experience is required—just curiosity and an openness to exploration.
Guided by professional artist Natalia Starikova, this workshop is part of our Paint Like Famous Artists series, created to make iconic art styles accessible and enjoyable for adult learners.
