The Awakenings Cohort program is a 9-week healing art program where participants attend weekly art workshops that build on themes surrounding survivorship, healing, and reflection. This Spring, we brought together survivors aged 55+ and survivors aged 18-25 for a collaborative art-making experience that explores healing across generations from sexual violence.
At Awakenings, we believe that artmaking can be an extremely powerful tool for survivors of sexual violence to process and move through their emotions about trauma and healing. Our Cohort program strives to facilitate the opportunity for further healing and reflection, while also providing a space for community and belonging.
This is a free event with an RSVP. If this event is sold out, walk-in's are welcome based on seat availability at the time of the event!
There are two steps to enter the building. Dial 012 on the call box and we will buzz you in! Go up the stairs or front elevator to the 2nd floor, we are the last door on the right.
If you utilize a wheelchair, please email or call Awakenings ahead of your arrival and a staff member can direct you up to the studio in our freight elevator.
