Kick off a fun and educational experience with Kaleigh, the Kansas Aviation Museum’s Director of Education, who will lead a story time reading of Amelia Who Could Fly, written by Mara Dal Corso and illustrated by Daniela Volpari. This charming book tells the story of a young Amelia Earhart, dreaming of flying a plane one day.
Following the story, Kaleigh will demonstrate the wonders of aviation flight and how it works through an interactive movement. Then, apply your newfound knowledge and creativity by designing your very own airplane in our Draw a Plane art project.
It’s a day of art and aviation fun – don’t miss it!
