Being the proud owner of a saxophone once owned by Hank Mobley and Ronnie Scott, Art Themen can justifiably be described as the elder statesman of British jazz. Since the sixties R&B boom Art has been at the forefront of the UK jazz scene. His influences range from Coleman Hawkins to Dexter Gordon, but his tone and style are unique.
