About this Event
We’re reclaiming the art of paying attention.
In a world that moves too fast, we’re pressing pause. Analog Club (formerly Analog Anonymous) is back, and this time, we’re gathering for a slow-down session centered around the records that shaped us.
This isn't just about the music; it’s about the "why." Whether it’s the album that got you through a breakup, a hand-me-down from your parents, or a hidden gem you found in a dusty crate—we want to hear the story behind the record.
What to Bring
- Your Ears: Bringing a record is not required—everyone is welcome to simply join the circle and listen.
- A Record (Optional): If you have a record (33/45/78 RPM) with a personal story you'd like to share, bring it along! Number tags for sharing slots are issued on a first-come basis at the door.
- Your Presence: Please silence all mobile devices upon entry to maintain the active listening environment.
The Theme: The Live Album
"Capturing a moment, not just a recording."
We are diving into the raw energy of a Live Album. Unlike studio recordings, live albums capture a fleeting moment in time—the roar of the crowd, the unscripted ad-libs, and the "human touch" of a one-take performance.
We’re looking for the records that make us feel like we’re standing in the front row.
- The Iconic: A legendary set that changed music history (e.g., Nirvana in New York, Daft Punk’s Alive).
- The Intimate: A small-room recording where you can hear every breath and string squeak.
- The Personal: A recording of a show you actually attended, or a bootleg that holds a specific memory.
Whether it’s a stadium anthem or a quiet acoustic set, bring the record that makes the room feel alive.
