Have you ever gazed at a piece of art and wondered about the story behind it, only to find yourself creating one in your mind? Art Speaks2 brings that imaginative process to life by pairing visual art with creative writing. Writers are challenged to craft a story or poem inspired by an artwork they receive—without any prior information about the piece—letting their creativity guide them.

Event Details:

This intimate gathering will take place in collaboration with Uncommon Ground who is hosting their beautiful space for the evening. Writers will stand before the original artwork and present their stories or poems, inviting the audience to experience the powerful connection between words and visuals. After the readings, we’ll open the floor for questions and comments before inviting the artist to share their inspiration behind the piece. Expect an evening of creativity, connection, and discovery!
