✨ Λίγα λόγια για το έργο
Ο όρος birding αναφέρεται στην παρατήρηση της άγριας ορνιθοπανίδας σε φυσικούς βιοτόπους.
Πάρτε τα κιάλια σας και αφεθείτε σε ένα ποιητικό ταξίδι ανάμεσα στη γέννηση και τον αποχωρισμό. Ένα πούπουλο αιωρείται, ένα σμήνος χαράζει πορεία στον ουρανό, επιστρέφοντας πάντα στο ίδιο σημείο εκκίνησης — εκεί όπου όλα μοιάζουν να είναι άνοιξη.
Η solo performance «BIRDING» κινείται ανάμεσα στην πραγματικότητα και τη μυθοπλασία, δημιουργώντας έναν κόσμο όπου το φανταστικό συνυπάρχει με τη φύση και το όνειρο. Μέσα από διαδοχικές μεταμορφώσεις, ένα πλάσμα-πτηνό ανακαλύπτει τα όρια και την ελευθερία, ισορροπώντας ανάμεσα στο φυσικό και το ανθρωπογενές περιβάλλον.
Το έργο προτείνει δύο αναγνώσεις: την παρατήρηση της άγριας ορνιθοπανίδας και την παρατήρηση της «αστικής ανθρωπο-πανίδας» — ένα ιδιότυπο humaning.
Μπορούμε τελικά να συνυπάρξουμε αρμονικά;

Η Μυρτώ Αποστολίδου καταγράφει την Αθήνα του 2000–2026 μέσα από το κινηματογραφικό, θεατρικό και χορευτικό τοπίο της. Από θεατής γίνεται παρατηρήτρια της μαγείας των παρασκηνίων, αποτυπώνοντας τη δημιουργία, τη μεταμόρφωση και τις ιστορίες που συνυπάρχουν ανάμεσα στην τρυφερότητα και τη βία της ανθρώπινης εμπειρίας.

✨ About the work
The term birding refers to the observation of wild birds in their natural habitats.
Bring your binoculars and settle into a poetic journey between birth and separation. A feather drifts in the air, a flock traces its path across the sky, always returning to the same point of departure—where everything seems to be spring.
The solo performance “BIRDING” moves between reality and fiction, creating a world where the imaginary coexists with nature and dreamlike states. Through a series of transformations, a bird-like being explores boundaries and freedom, balancing between the natural and the man-made environment.
The work proposes two readings: the observation of wild ornithofauna and the observation of the “urban human-fauna”—a kind of humaning.
Can we ultimately coexist in harmony?
