Art Quest, AURORA’s annual community art discovery program, returns on Saturday, July 18th to South DallasFrom 10-2 PM, The African American Museum will host an evening of art, performance, music, food, and community celebration.
Participants will follow clues hidden throughout the neighborhood for a chance to win a digital illustration, as well as an original ink illustration by artist Lakeem Wilson.
This year, Art Quest introduces a new theatrical element in collaboration with Teatro Dallas, who will reveal clues through live performative moments throughout the evening.
After the quest, stay for artist meet-and-greets, art activities, music, and free food and drinks with local community partners.
Meow Wolf is generously providing complimentary tickets for registered Art Quest participants to experience their interactive museum in Grapevine, where the art exhibition turns into an immersive adventure. Tickets can only be physically received at the Art Quest event.

All Art Quest programming is free and open to participants of all ages.
How to Participate
• 10–10:50 am: AURORA has partnered with the African American Museum to kick off the evening with a community gathering. At 6:00 pm, Teatro Dallas will perform to reveal the first clue.
• 11–12:30 pm: Participants will follow the clues to find Art Quest clue cards hidden throughout the neighborhood. The first participant to collect and present all clue cards will win the works of art by Lakeem Wilson
• 12:30–2 pm: The community celebration continues with local partners, art activities, music, and free food and drinks.

De 10 AM a 2 PM, African American Museum Dallas será sede de una jornada de arte, performance, música, comida y celebración comunitaria.
