Slow down, look closer, and reconnect with your sense of wonder! By taking time to be still and observe nature, we can support our mental well-being and find joy in small, everyday moments.
This nature journaling workshop is designed for beginners; no art or journaling experience is needed—anyone can do this. We’ll use simple, step-by-step journaling activities to practice noticing and recording what we see in nature. The focus is on curiosity, not perfection, and participants will leave with easy skills they can use on their own to reflect, notice details, and enjoy time outdoors. Includes some light hiking on uneven ground.

Where: DeSoto State Park in Fort Payne, Alabama.
Fee: $35-includes all supplies. Teen to adults. pre-registration is required for attendance in this class.
