How often do we truly notice the world around us? This workshop invites you to slow down, open your senses, and explore the city in a new way — through drawing, writing, and mindful observation.What you can expect:
During this 3-hour guided workshop, you will:
• Practice slowing down and being present in the heart of Nørrebro
• Train your ability to notice details, textures, shapes, colors and patterns in your surroundings.
• Explore playful creative exercises like ‘wordpainting’ (free writing from the senses), ‘texture explorations’, and a ‘sketch crawl’ in the surrounding neighborhood
• Share your experiences and create a small collective exhibition together at the end of the workshop

Who is this for?
This workshop is open to anyone curious about creativity and mindfulness. No drawing experience is required — just bring your curiosity and warm clothes for being outside. Show up with a friend or alone - no matter you will step into a guided social experience with other curious participants. This event will be held in English.
Date: 12th of October 2025
Time: 12.00 - 15.00. After the workshop there will possibility to stay for another hour, to keep socialising with the other participants.

Who are we?
The workshop is co-facilitated by Zofia and Solveig, who are both part of the gallery collective of Symbol where the workshop takes place.Together we combine artistic and participatory methods to create playful, reflective spaces for presence, creativity, and connection.
Zofia: Designer & illustrator, general “lover of the arts” and urban sketching enthusiast. Would like to encourage you to pick up a pencil and draw, when you feel even the slightest itch to do it. Something cool might happen on the paper and in your brain.
Solveig: A workshop facilitator, Kaospilot and working with contemporary art, creativity and team development on the daily. I am passionate about holding space for you to explore your own self expression and to connect deeper with yourself and others!
