Art of Cooking Half-Day Youth Summer Camp - To Bake or Not to Bake (Ages 9-14)

Activity Name: Art of Cooking Half-Day Youth Summer Camp - To Bake or Not to Bake

Recommended Ages: 9-14

Class Dates and Times: Monday through Friday August 17-21, 2026 from 9:30am-12pm

Activity Description: We are excited to offer this unique and exciting summer half-day program for children ages 9 and up. In this week-long program, students will receive step-by instruction in the art of cooking. At each session, students will learn how to make simple and delicious baked goods and no-bake recipes using different cooking tools. We keep our classes small to allow time for each student to participate in the class and gain lots of hands-on experience.

Each session is 2.5 hours long for a total of 12.5 hours of instruction over the full program. Students must register at least 2 days in advance of the first session. This is a drop-off and pick up class.

Price: $250 per person for non-members or $225 for members. Participants must register for the entire program; attendance at individual sessions is not permitted.

Early Bird Discount: Receive $15 off the total price when you register at least three weeks in advance (by 7/27). Use code EB15 at checkout. A deposit of 50% of the total camp price is due at the time of booking. If this option is selected, the remaining balance is due one week prior to the first session. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

More Information: Our Art of Cooking half-day camp is designed to teach children ages 7 and up the fundamentals of cooking and food prep. The program will foster independence as well as encourage self-confidence and teamwork.

We use tools that are safe and simple to use and meals that are easy to recreate safely at home. The basics class uses tools such as electric skillets, electric griddles, crock pots, and air friers.

Stilettos is committed to serving all children in our community, regardless of their financial circumstances. If you or your family requires financial assistance to participate in this program, we are happy to work with your budget. Please contact Rebecca Whitman at [email protected] as soon as possible to request a discounted rate.
