Activity Name: Cosmic Creators Hal-Day Youth Art Journaling Summer Camp

Dates and Times: Monday through Friday August 24-28 from 12:30-3:30pm
Activity Description: In this unique summer art program, students will create their own 12x12 art journal which depicts the best parts of their summer. They will learn the basics of art journaling from an experienced instructor in a fun and relaxing atmosphere and will use various scrapbooking and other art supplies to bring their journal to to life and create lasting memories in a creative way. They will also be provided with writing prompts and will include their responses in their journal. Students must bring their own printed photos with them.
This program takes place once every day for one week. Each session is approximately 3 hours long but may take longer if needed. This is a total of 15 hours of instruction over the course of the program.
This is a drop off and pick up class. Students must register at least one week in advance of the first class date to allow adequate time for purchase of required materials.
Price: $265 per person for non-members or $240 for members. Participants must register for the entire program; attendance at individual sessions is not permitted. Early Bird Discount: Receive $15 off when you register 3 weeks prior to the class start date (by 8/3). Use code EB15 at checkout. A deposit of 50% of the total camp price is due at the time of booking. If this option is selected, the remaining balance is due one week prior to the first session. More Information: We offer unique art camps for children throughout the year. These programs are geared for adolescent children wishing to explore the world of art. We teach simple and fun projects to them that encourage self-expression, education, and fundamental art skills. Students will learn a variety of art mediums in these programs with a wonderful instructor.
This age group is very creative and their imaginations are limitless. We encourage them to express their own unique imaginations and teach them how to do it with art. We may paint with brushes or hands, draw with crayons, markers and more. We may also explore other forms of art. We often include educational pieces into our programs to help expand the mind as well as the heart.
Our main goal is to foster expressive creativity and build self-confidence all while having fun. We help them to grow and use their wonderful imaginations in an unlimited way.
