Inspired by featured exhibition Rodney McMillian: A Son of the Soil, this three-part, textile-based class invites participants to explore personal and historical narratives through stitched art. Experiment with fabric, thread, and mixed materials to create works that reflect the intersection of memory, identity, and expression. Previous hand-sewing experience is suggested but not required. Ages 15 and up. All materials and equipment provided. Taught by artist Shayna Slicer. $200 / $160 for members. Members get priority registration through Wednesday, April 8.
