In this one-day class, participants take reference photos broken into grayscale shapes and translate them into colors on canvas using the painting styles of Impressionist artists featured in the CMA Collection. Taught by local art educator Mary Hendrix, who holds a bachelor’s degree in art from East Tennessee State University and a master’s degree in teaching from the University of South Carolina. All supplies and equipment provided. Ages 15 and up. $125 / $100 for members. Priority registration for members only through Wednesday, February 11.
