About this Event
Born from the Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Mindfulness Art Therapy program at PMH, this showcase, titled "Postcards for Fellow Travellers", brings forward works that are both therapeutic and artistic. At the heart of this evening is patient-created art; deeply personal pieces that channel healing into creative expression.
Funded by the generosity of Alli’s Journey donors like you, patients have dedicated weeks to these works, designed to reflect resilience, imagination, and lived experience. For one evening, they step forward not as cancer patients, but as artists, proud to share their creativity and stories with the community.
Guests are invited into a relaxed, gallery-style setting: to wander, mingle, and connect with the art and the artists themselves. It’s an evening centered on creativity, conversation, and connection.
By attending, you also help sustain the very programs that made this showcase possible. Every gift directly supports Alli’s Journey and the Mindfulness Art Therapy Program - funding art supplies, therapy sessions, and ongoing participation - ensuring more patients can find healing through creativity.
In short, this evening is about:
- Showcasing the artistry and resilience of patients whose therapy is also their expression.
- Inviting guests into an inspiring gallery-style experience that fosters reflection and community.
- Sustaining Alli’s Journey programs through simple, meaningful contributions.
Can't join us in person? You can still make an impact. Consider supporting our year-end campaign to fund programs like this one — providing Comfort Bags for patients starting treatment and sustaining the Art Therapy program that makes evenings like "Postcards for Fellow Travellers" possible. Your gift creates comfort, inspires creativity, and fuels hope.
