Preventing Violence Against Women Program- The Anglican Diocese of Melbourne(PVAW), in partnership with Holstep Health and St Margaret Church, Eltham, warmly invites you to attend our upcoming exhibition:Art as Healing: Voices Against Violence
📍 St Paul’s Cathedral, Transept Gallery, Melbourne
📅 Running May – June 2026
This powerful exhibition showcases artwork created by members of Holstep Health’s Living Well Family Violence Group. The artists come from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences. Each artist has been impacted by family violence, and many are survivors.
Through art, they explore themes of healing, transformation, resilience, rebirth, and hope sharing the message that despite the trauma of violence, the strength, courage, and faith of women and children will prevail.
To celebrate the exhibition and raise vital funds for the PVAW Program, we invite you to join us for a special evening:
Date: Thursday, 4 June
Time: 6:00 – 8:30 pm
Location: St Paul’s Cathedral, Melbourne
Guests will enjoy live music and light refreshments while viewing the exhibition and hearing from guest speakers on family violence and the role of the Anglican Church in prevention efforts.
Speakers include:
Helen Bolton, CEO, Respect Victoria
Reverend Ali McGrice, St Jude’s, Carlton
