This hybrid event (in-person + Zoom) explores how assistive technologies can empower people with various disabilities to participate in the workforce. Bringing together leaders in AI, rehabilitation, inclusive design, and humanitarian technology, the session will showcase innovative solutions that enhance accessibility, independence, confidence, and productivity — helping build a more inclusive future where everyone has the opportunity to contribute and succeed.

1.Welcome & IEEE SIGHT Introduction (5 mins)

2.Keynote Talk (30 mins)

Prof. Rajiv Khosla, Managing Director, Human Centred Innovations Pty Ltd
Founder of My Matilda — an Australian socially assistive robotics innovation designed to support disability inclusion, aged care, education, and human-centred engagement. Prof. Khosla is internationally recognised for his work in AI, socially assistive robotics, inclusive design, and humanitarian technologies.

3.Panel Discussion (30 mins) - Prof. Rajiv Khosla and Dr. Justin Fong

Dr. Justin Fong, Research Fellow, University of Melbourne
Researcher in rehabilitative and assistive technologies with expertise in digital health innovation, accessibility, and technology-enabled rehabilitation systems.

Moderator: Dhushintha Ramalingam, Phd candidate, Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, The University of Melbourne

4.Refreshments & Networking (30 mins)
