Heartleaf Philodendron & Them

📅 Saturday, February 21, 2026 | 2–4 pm

Followed by Reception for Adrian Garcia | 6–8 pm

Hosted by Enrooted Home and Wellness and artist Tina Medina

We’ll celebrate the Heartleaf Philodendron—corazón de la selva—a plant that grows in long, intertwining vines, much like the roots of our comunidades.

Hands-on: Learn to cut and propagate Heartleaf Philodendrons while sharing memories of the families, neighbors, and mentors who nurtured and guided you.

Community Reflection: Each propagation becomes a reminder of how we carry forward the love and lessons from those who raised us.

Art Creation: Participants will sculpt clay leaves inspired by the philodendron’s heart-shaped form. Each leaf will be inscribed with a name, symbol, or memory representing someone or something that helped you grow. Together, the leaves will form a collective ceramic wall hanging—a living metaphor of how our roots and vines connect, strengthen, and sustain us.

Come honor the people and places that shaped your story, and weave them into a shared work of art.

Pearl & Jade and You

📅 Sat, Mar 7, 2026 | 3–5 pm

Explore duality and self through the Pearl and Jade Pothos. We’ll cut and share plantitas, reflect in a Plantita Plática on how our loved ones’ strengths and weaknesses shape us, and create layered collage art inspired by the plant’s marbled leaves as symbols of our own evolving identities.

Embrace your roots. Honor your duality.

Grow in comunidad.
