About this Event
In this hands‑on workshop, kids ages 3–8 and their caregivers explore Japanese tea traditions, make decaf matcha, and learn how we take care of tea utensils. First, families take a guided tour of . Then art conservators show how we treat tea bowls used in gatherings and compare them to the ones we display. Kids then create a decorative tea bowl to take home.
When registering, please register for one ticket per person (kids and adults). Based on limited capacity in the gallery and classroom, this will help give us an accurate count.
There are two sessions, each lasting about 1.5 hours. Please register for the session that would work best with your schedule.
