ART ACTIVATED: DC BLACK PRIDE


KICK OFF with as we partner with Fellow DMV for a night celebrating and highlighting Black queer art and creativity at DC’s only Black LGBTQ+ owned lounge, , on Tuesday, May 19 from 6 PM to 10 PM, with an afterparty from 10 PM until late.
Enjoy showcases from multidisciplinary artists, performances from music artists, spoken word artists and poets, a custom photo booth, and an interactive *Art of Conversation* activation by Fellow DMV.
We will also host an artist talk beginning at 7:30 PM, followed by spoken word and music performances.
Whether you are an artist, art collector, art curator, art enthusiast, creative, or simply someone who loves a good vibe, this night is for you!
🍷🍽️ Enjoy Thurst Lounge’s happy hour specials on drinks and food until 7 PM, plus curated cocktails all night.
👕 DRESS CODE: SOMETHING SILVER (wear an element of silver or metallic for DC BLACK PRIDE’s The New Black Renaissance theme)
📸 Photos and video will be captured, so show up and show out.
